  • Make an emergency kit with basic supplies ready in case of an emergency.
  • Know what emergencies and natural disasters are most likely to happen in our area
  • Attend a Red Cross class for emergency preparedness or learn critical life-saving skills.
  • Figure out an evacuation plan with your family.
One of the most important items to have in an emergency kit is a battery operated radio. In a prolonged power outage, cell service goes away in a few days. Radio can provide crucial information during a blackout. Emergency Preparedness Kit Contents
 Radio - This compact radio is ideal for use in emergency crisis situations. Features include an AM/FM receiver, telescoping antenna and earphone jack. Measures just 3.5" x 2.2" x 3/4" thick - including handy belt clip on back. 2, AAA batteries included.
First Aid Kit - This small yet functional kit is ideal to carry in briefcases, handbags, the glove compartment and more. Hard plastic contoured case measures 4" x 3.25" x 1".
Light Sticks - Our 6" Light Stick can be used anytime and anywhere to add illumination that will protect you from dangers of not being seen. Each stick lasts 12 hours. Light sticks are individually wrapped in a sealed foil pack.
Purified water - For immediate use. 125 ml pouch is durable and lightweight. USCG, CCG and EC approved. 5 year shelf life.
Flashlight - Lightweight plastic body with nylon wrist strap. Overall length is 7.75". This product now includes 2 Heavy Duty D-sized batteries - shipped with product, but not installed. Flashlight colors may vary.
